The background which is mottled blue represents the sky and green earthen hues which represents the mid-ground show full leafage. Vase is also decorated with a setting sun that illuminates the scene. The brilliant coloration and exquisite detailing are of the highest quality workmanship. Signed on the underside “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine as well as artist initials “FG”.
