CHINESE ENAMELED FOUR-PART SWEETMEAT BOX. Late 19th early 20th century. Each circular compartment applied with ear-shaped enamel posts, each decorated with quatrefoil reserves decorated with birds in flight amongst flowering branches and set on a yellow, blue, aquamarine and pink ground filled with polychrome floral decoration. The top compartment fitted with a conforming lid with floral peony design amidst bats. SIZE: 7-1/2″ h x 7″ dia. CONDITION: Good overall. The pink compartment with rim chip. 9-22320 (500-800)
