*UPGRADED WINCHESTER MODEL 12 GRADE 5 WITH GOLD. SN 1413262. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ bbl, matted vent rib with dual white sighting beads, full choke, 2-3/4″ chamber. Milled top receiver with duckbill rib extension. Engraved in style of the Winchester 12-5 pattern with left side with 2 gold pointers on point, with flushing gold grouse in flight in wooded scene bookended with foliate arabesque scroll. Right side scene is 4 gold ducks in flight with pond scene bookended with foliate arabesque scroll. Bbl extension is engraved above SN with a pigeon. Bolt and carrier are finely jeweled. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, 12 B style checkered pistol grip, Winchester hard rubber gripcap, Winchester solid red recoil pad, target beavertail forend with 12 B style checkering. Gun is accompanied by an evaluation letter signed David P. Bichrest reiterating above information. Bore diameter: .729. Bore restrictions: .035. Wall thickness: .035. Drop at heel: 2-1/16″, drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 8 lbs. 6 oz. LOP 14-3/8″. CONDITION: Extremely fine since restoration and upgrade, bbl and receiver retain virtually all of its fine restored blue finish with some minor rub marks on mag tube, showing bright on slide bar, and small nick on forward left side of receiver. Stock is sound with sharp pointed checkering, a couple minor handling marks and retains virtually all of its restored finish. There is a small circular crack at the stock head that has been meticulously repaired. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks and retains virtually all of its restored finish. Mechanics are crisp with nice shiny bore. 4-39954 BDT151 (2,500-3,500)
