THREE AMERICAN ART POTTERY OBJECTS. 1) Rookwood ewer of high brown glaze receding to green and rum, with 3-leaf decoration to front and single leaf to back, all in earthen hues. Ewer is finished with a ruffled top and applied handle. Signed “Rookwood” with “R” in flames. Also marked 504E and artist initialed “SX”. 2) Of classic bulbous form with gently flared rim, vase has an earthen-hued background and is decorated with a floral and foliage pattern in mostly greens. Signed “Rookwood” with “R” in flames, numbered 568C and artist initialed “MM”. Also has “X” to bottom. 3) Unknown maker. Vase is of irregularly shaped pillow form and begins with an earthen colored background; decorated with pansies to the front. Remnants of signature “WA” on bottom; illegible artist signature.
