*SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 30 WCF (30-30). SN 237315. Standard grade take down rifle with 26″ oct to rnd bbl, half magazine, ivory bead Lyman front sight, Lyman 6A folding rear sight and a Lyman tang sight. It has nicely figured American walnut with straight stock and hard rubber shotgun Winchester buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl & magazine tube retain 95-97% strong bright orig blue. Receiver retains 88-90% strong bright orig blue with wear at the top rear edges and thinning on the bottom. Left side has a small cloth weave impression. Take down ring has about 90% orig blue. Lever retains about 75% bright case colors & the hammer about 95%. Wood is sound with light to moderate nicks, scratches & dings and retains most of its orig factory varnish. Stock has a filled hole in the bottom and another small filled sliver left side of the top tang. Crisp mechanics, brilliant shiny bore. 4-54909 JR213 (1,750-2,750)
