LIMITED EDITION FAIRYLAND LUSTRE PLAQUE. This beautiful Fairyland Lustre plaque entitled The Enchanted Palace is a limited edition based on an original Wedgwood design in Fairyland Lustre produced in 1922. The plaque depicts a stairway leading up to a distant palace with torches illuminating the stairway, a starry night sky and imps and fairies in the water and trees near the stairway with a baby on a near shore looking on. Plaque is numbered on the back “132 in a limited edition of 250” and marked “Wedgwood Bone China Made in England”. Plaque is mounted in a decorative gold frame. SIZE: Approx. 8″ x 12″. Overall frame is 10-1/2″ x 14-1/2″. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-60901 (800-1,200)
