FOUR WEDGWOOD COMMON LUSTRE PIECES. Lot consists of four outstanding Wedgwood common lustre pieces. 1) Dragon Lustre vase with gilded dragon surrounding the gourd shaped vase against a mottled blue lustre background. Signed on the underside with Portland vase mark and “Wedgwood England”. 2) Fish Lustre sherbet with colorful fish surrounding the exterior of the bowl against a mottled blue lustre background. Interior of bowl is done in a mottled cream lustre finish and decorated in the bottom with three gilt fish. Signed on the underside with gold Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood England”. 3) Small Dragon Lustre bowl with gilded dragons surrounding the bowl against a mottled green lustre background. Interior of bowl is finished with a mottled cream lustre background with three blue clouds on sides of interior and a center medallion of a stylized fish. Signed on the underside with Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood England”. 4) Tiny Butterfly Lustre bowl with gilded butterflies adorning the exterior of the bowl against a mottled maroon lustre background. Interior of bowl is finished in a mottled cream lustre and decorated with a single large stylized butterfly. Signed on the underside with gold Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood Made in England”.
