POSSIBLY JAMES H. HAGAMAN (AMERICAN, 1866-1946) TENDING THE FLOCK. Oil on canvas on board landscape summer scene shows a shepherd with a large flock of sheep grazing in an expansive meadow with trees under blue and white cloud sky. Signed lower right “J. Hagaman” and having the location “Crecy-en-brie”. Also it looks like there was an older signature identical but dated “1900”. Housed in a fancy gold pierce decorated period frame. SIZE: 18″ x 22″.
