Outstanding panoramic oil on canvas Texas landscape scene shows a slightly used dirt road leading past a tall tree. Each side is grass covered with white and golden flowers. The viewer looks across low hills and valleys to a distant horizon. All under a light blue and white cloud sky. Signed lower left and dated “1951”. Housed in its original carved wood and painted frame. The back inscribed “Done for my friend, Peter Briola, Porfirio Salinas 8-2-51″. Frame retaining a Glasser’s Art Shop San Antonio, TX label.
