*EARLY WINCHESTER MODEL 21 FIELD GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 910. Cal. 12ga, 30″ bbls, matted tapered, concave rib, silver front and white center sighting beads, MOD/FULL choke, 2-3/4″ chambers, extractors and dbl triggers. Top of right bbl is marked “MODEL 21 – WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK – 12 GAUGE”. Left bbl “MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. / NEW HAVEN. CONN. – PATENTS PENDING”. Standard step side receiver mounted with lightly figured walnut, checkered pistol grip, brown solid Old English recoil pad, checkered splinter forend. Bore diameter: left -.730, right -.730. Bore restrictions: left -.035, right -.010. Wall thickness: left -.033, right -.039. Drop at heel:2-1/2″ , drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 7lbs. 6oz. LOP 13-7/8″. CONDITION: Fine+. Bbls retain 90-95% orig blue with some minor muzzle wear, some areas lightly thinning, normal minor nicks & handling marks and typical rub mark from forend. Receiver has 90% orig blue starting to silver on sharp edges, small rub mark on side of each bolster, flaking and blending with brown patina on trigger plate. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, numerous minor handling marks and retains most of its orig finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, some minor handling marks and retains orig finish.
