OUTSTANDING LARGE CAMILLE FAURE LIMOGES VASE. Large round bodied vase with silver footed base with small flaring mouth having a rolled silver rim. Piece is marked “C Faure Limoges” on bottom side. Body sculpted in colors of deep and light red, white and black enamels. The swirling decoration with circles of white and black having trailing pinwheels in white lobes. Black geometric pattern against a red background. PROVENANCE: Christies Sale, Amsterdam, 1985. SIZE: 11” h x 12” dia. at middle. CONDITION: Very good.
