*COLT MODEL 1877 LIGHTNING DA REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Colt. SN 139139. Blue & case colored with 4-1/2” bbl, half moon front sight and 2-pc rampant Colt hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Bbl retains 95-96% glossy orig blue with sharp edge wear and a few spots of chemical staining with a little fine pitting on left side. Ejector rod housing retains about 50% orig blue with outer radius a blue/brown patina. Frame retains most of its orig case colors, brilliant in sheltered areas, fading elsewhere. Grip frame retains most of its orig glossy blue with a few small spots of pitting on triggerguard and thin backstrap. Cyl retains 93-95% orig blue. Grips are fine with right side turned chocolate, showing light wear. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. 4-30605 JR299 (3,000-3,500)
