DAUM LETTER OPENER. Very unusual Daum letter opener has cameo glass handle of green translucent glass against a clear acid frosted background. Cameo flowers and leaves are highlighted with gold and handle is attached to a stylized Art Nouveau copper letter opener blade. Signed on handle with etched signature “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 12″ l. CONDITION: Two minor fleabites to cameo carving and some wear and minor dents to blade. 5-70129 (900-1,200)
