ADOLFO CIPRIANI (Italian, 1895-1930) ALABASTER BUST OF A YOUNG WOMAN. The female bust depicting a young woman wearing a laurel leaf headpiece, hair styled in a chignon, wearing a gown, signed at the back of the bust in script “A. Cipriani”. Swiveling on a conforming sockle. Sold together with a classical form marble pedestal, having a rotating capital above a fluted column with a stepped base. SIZE: 21-1/2″ h of bust with sockle; 42″ h of pedestal. CONDITION: The bust very good overall with good patina. The pedestal also very good with a fleabite at upper edge of capital. 9-98366 (800-1,200)
