AMERICAN EMPIRE MAHOGANY MARBLE TOP HALL TABLE. Second quarter 19th century. The rectangular, polished, Brescia top projecting above the conforming frieze with beaded edge, joined to the acanthus-carved lyre base, stepped cyma-curved plinth, raised on ogee bracket feet. SIZE: 30-1/2″ h. x 44-1/2″ l. x 23-1/2″ w. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: Marble top with two professionally restored corners. Table base professionally cleaned and repolished. Minor repairs and veneer losses to feet. Overall very good condition. 9-93483 (2,000-4,000)
