*1917 DWM ARTILLERY LUGER. Cal 9 mm. SN 5675e. Usual configuration with 7-7/8” bbl, fixed front sight with fine tune 800 meter rear sight. It has full checkered wood grips and a stainless body, wood based magazine that has the number “2812”. The front strap has a unit mark “164.R.1.1”. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. All matching except the side plate which is numbered 53 and the grips which appear to be Erfurt proofed with the number “31”. Bbl retains 96-97% strong original blue with light muzzle wear. Receiver 93-95% original blue. Toggle and bolt assembly retain 97-98% strong blue. Frame retains 94-96% strong original blue and overall the pistol retains about 70% straw colors. Grips show moderate wear with a replaced chip by the safety. Extremely fine magazine. Worn bore, dark in the grooves. 4-50438 JR314 (750-1,250)
