*DELUXE SAKO FORESTER MODEL L579 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 243. SN 77355. Beautiful deluxe rifle with 22-1/2″ tapered rnd bbl, made without sights. Receiver is mounted with orig early Sako medium rings containing a Leupold Vari-X II 2-7X scope. Floorplate & trigger guard are silver etch decorated with an African antelope head, vines & leaves. Mounted in an early Sako yellow walnut stock with skip-line checkered forestock & grip with rosewood forend tip & grip cap. Grip cap has a light colored evergreen tree shaped inlay. It has a Monte Carlo cheekpiece butt with orig brown Sako waffle pad. Accompanied by a fine basket weave carved, fleece lined Bianchi leather sling. CONDITION: Near new, has been fired but very little. Overall retains about 97% strong bright orig finish to metal with only slight muzzle edge wear. Stock has a few minor nicks from handling & storage & retains about all of its bright orig finish. Crisp mechanics, bright shiny bore. Optics are fine. 4-55620 JR189 (500-1,000)
