DELUXE WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). SN 135098. Beautiful deluxe rifle with 24-1/4″ oct bbl, button magazine, half-nickel front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has highly figured center crotch cut American walnut wood with “H” style checkered forearm and straight grip with smooth steel shotgun butt. Accompanied by a Cody Firearms Museum yellow sheet fully identifying this rifle and indicating shipment on October 13, 1883. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains 95-97% strong bright orig blue. Receiver retains 40-50% orig case colors, strong & bright on the right side, more muted on the left side with the balance a smooth plum patina. Wood is sound with minor nicks & scratches and retains most of a fine professionally restored finish. Buttplate retains 92-94% bright orig blue. Good mechanics, bright shiny bore with one little area of light surface rust about mid-point. 4-54569 JR130 (12,500-17,500)
