Oil on canvas Housed in a gilt wood antique frame having a gilt wood artist’s and title plaque Purportedly signed with monogram & dated “1864” lower left The canvas having a “Theo. Kelley Phil.” canvas stamp. SIZE: 20″ x 17″. Overall: 22″ x 18-1/2″. PROVENANCE: In the catalog raisonne, with picture; also mentioning it is signed and dated lower left. The subject is Fannie Rundle (1806-1828), daughter of Philadelphia friend George Rundle. He used her likeness for the remainder of his life after her untimely death at the age of 22 CONDITION: Craquelure, minor touch-up, very good. 9-25487 (4,000-6,000)
