D’ARGENTAL FRENCH CAMEO VASE. Rare and unusual cameo vase is decorated with three layers of acid cut back roses also showing thorns and leaves. Colors are deep rose, sienna and brown on a camphor colored ground with the top and lower sections of vase having the same rose design with high and low relief on a deep red ground. Vase is signed “D’Argental” in cameo on side of vase. SIZE: 12″ t. CONDITION: Very good with chip to edge under signature. 5-65285 (2,000-2,500)
