19TH CENTURY PLANTATION STYLE TWO PART DESK. Two piece, top piece has fall front writing surface which opens to reveal three drawer interior with pigeon holes and compartment area. Bottom has one long drawer over ring turned and tapering legs. Top and bottom have reddish comb grain painting. Bottom legs are accented with black highlighted rings. Fall front has two inset panels with primitive painting of country house with pond in a landscape with sheep. SIZE: 50-1/4” h x 35-3/4” l x 18-3/4” d; writing h 28-3/4”. CONDITION: Generally good.
