FINE RED (DAHONGPAO) STONE STAMP OR SEAL. Second half 19th century. The top impressed with a Shou character. One side of the stone seal with 9 characters (see photo). The bottom of the stamp/seal engraved with several Chinese characters. SIZE: 2-3/4″ h x 4″ square. PROVENANCE: Property of Prince Duan Aixinjueluo Zaiyi (1856-1922). From the private collection of the grandniece of the Last Emperor Puyi (reign 1906-1917) of the Qing Dynasty. Granddaughter of Puji and great-great granddaughter of the Dowager Empress Cixi (reign 1861-1908). CONDITION: Very fine original condition. 9-22143 (8,000-12,000)
