EMILE LOUIS PICAULT (French 1833-1915) “MEMORIA”. Bronze depicting a young beauty leaning against a naturalistic support inscribed “Le Coeur Se Souvient”. She holds tablet inscribed “J’evoque du passe les heures radieuses”. The plinth base inscribed “Memoria”, signed “E. Picault”. The finish with gold colored figure and greenish-brown background. SIZE: 26″ h x 12-1/2″ w x 9″ d. CONDITION: Very good, some loss to finish on figure, two small screw holes in side for unknown use. 9-24691 (1,000-2,000)
