PETER ROLFE (American, ) “TIDEWATER FARM”. Large watercolor Maine scene shows a white farmhouse with small buildings at edge of a tidewater river. The scene is late fall with autumn hues having bare trees looking across to low hills under cloud & blue sky. Signed lower left. Also titled and signed on reverse. Probably done in the late 70’s. Housed in a good modern wood frame with wide double matte. SIZE: Sight: 21-1/2″ x 29-1/2″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-21009 (800-1,200)
