PAIR OF QING DYNASTY YELLOW ENAMEL SMALL DEEP DISHES. 19th century. Each with a 6 character Qianlong (1736-1795) reign mark in underglaze black. Each dish decorated with a central 5-toe dragon in green enamel within a leafy rondel, the borders decorated with opposing running dragons amidst leafy vinery, all in green enamel. Each dish with scalloped edge. The exterior also decorated with running dragons. SIZE: 1″ h x 5-1/4″ dia. PROVENANCE: From the Private Collection of the Grand Niece of the Last Emperor Puyi (Reign 1906-1917) of the Qing Dynasty. Granddaughter of Puji and Great-Great Granddaughter of the Dowager Empress Cixi (Reign 1861-1908). CONDITION: Very good. 9-22145 (3,000-5,000)
