MICHAEL B. KARAS (AMERICAN, 1954 – ), “COASTAL SYMPHONY”. Large oil on wood panel coastal New England scene shows large waves crashing onto coastal ledge under a pink-highlighted cloud and blue sky. The early evening scene shows the coastal rocks in shadow with the crashing waves reflecting the setting sun. Signed lower right, “KARAS”. Housed in a fine gilt-decorated frame with scrolled, scalloped motif in corners. Titled, signed and dated “1992” on reverse. SIZE: 36″ x 48″.
