*VERY EARLY COLT COMMERCIAL GOVERNMENT MODEL. Cal. 45 ACP. SN C282. Usual configuration, 5″ bbl, orig rnd top rear sight and thin front sight. Grips are WWII, brown, plastic replacement with a military magazine. Accompanied by a “Sears 1942” U.S. flap holster. CONDITION: Poor to fair. Very dark brown patina, very worn with heavy rust pitting. Grips & magazine are fine. Strong bore with frosty pitting. Mechanics are fine. Holster has been dyed black & shows moderate wear.
