THREE ORIENTAL VASES NOW MOUNTED AS LAMPS. 19th century. 1) The first a large, elongated bottle-form vase in canary yellow enamel. 2) The second, a beaker form Satsuma vase decorated with a royal procession within a cartouche, the reverse with a cartouche with a decorated tree landscape on a black ground. 3) The third is a Chinese cloisonne storage jar decorated overall with a wide midband of Chinese seal marks, all on a turquoise ground, densely populated with polychrome insects and flower heads. Each is mounted on a hardwood base and mounted as a lamp. SIZE: 1) 21″ h, overall 33″. 2) 15-1/2″ h, overall 31″. 3) 11″ h, overall 25″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: The first with craquelure, overall very good. The bottle vase and Satsuma vase, each with craquelure, otherwise very good. The cloisonne example is good overall with some pitting to enamel within some cloisons. 9-23205 (1,000-1,500)
