WINCHESTER DELUXE MODEL 1886 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal 45-70. SN 106483. Fine deluxe 86 with 26” oct bbl, full magazine, half-nickel front sight and an 1886 marked ladder rear sight. The wood is highly figured flame grain walnut with checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a Winchester logo hard rubber buttplate. The forend cap and stock have sling eyes. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl and magazine tube retain 60-70% strong bright original blue mixed with chemical spotting reminiscent of smoke damage. Receiver retains 30-40% faint case colors with the balance turned silver. Wood is sound and retains about 90% of an old professional refinish.
