Both in original gilt carved wood frames. 1) Oil on canvas scene shows a winding river with flower lined banks leading to blue hill. Title and dated on reverse “July 1930”. 2) Oil on canvas portrait of a connected house with foundation plantings and path lined with sunflowers. Both works signed lower right “W A Hill”. SIZE: Both 14″ x 16″. PROVENANCE: Estate of Nancy H. Woods, Boothbay, Maine. CONDITION: Very good. 9-20900 (500-800)
