FINE CARVED IVORY CANE WITH MICE EATING CORN ON THE COB. Handle shows a bent ear of corn having two large mice curled around it eating the corn. There are some kernels missing and the bottom shows a mouse curled up on each side of the stalk. Oriental carving is signed in an oval relief area on the stock. The outstanding shaft is also carved with flowers and birds in relief. Brass 3/4” ferrule. SIZE: 36-1/2” l. Handle is 4-3/4” x 2-1/4” l. CONDITION: Very good. 9-28213 (1000-1500)
