Looks toward the young woman in summer blue dress who he carries in his arms. Her left arm is draped across his shoulders and her right arm extends down holding a wide brimmed hat with red ribbon. Signed and dated “Pruett Carter 30″. This probably was used as a cover illustration. During this time, he worked for Woman’s Home Companion and also provided illustrations for McCall’s and Lady’s Home Journal. Housed in a decorative modern frame. SIZE: 39″ x 28”. CONDITION: Relined.
