NEW YORK CLASSICAL CARVED FIGURED MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE. IN THE SCHOOL OF DUNCAN PHYFE. The rectangular top with hinged shaped leaves above the frieze with drawer and dropped pendants joined to an elaborate acanthus carved standard on a platform base raised on four out-swept legs with scrolled acanthus carved knees terminating in carved feet with square collars on brass casters. PROVENANCE: From a Harpswell, Maine home. SIZE: 28-3/4” h x 22-1/2” w closed x 42” d, top open measures 42” x 52”. CONDITION: Old surface, several toes re-carved, replaced casters. 9-90083 QP (2,000-2,500)
