CUT GLASS LAMP. Wonderful cut glass lamp has beautifully cut mushroom shaped shade with hobstar design separated by panels of cane. The fitter rim of the shade has cut scallops. The beautifully cut shade rests atop a silver-plated base with dual sockets and three arm spider. Base is marked on the underside “Hamilton & Inches Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Edinburgh”. Bottom of the base is also hallmarked “D&B” as well as “E.N.P.S.” PROVENANCE: Estate of Maria M. Viveiros, New Bedford, Massachusetts. SIZE: Shade is 10″ at fitter x 11″ dia overall. Overall height is 17″. CONDITION: A few nicks to points of cutting, base is missing wiring, otherwise very good. 9-28765 (500-700)
