GROUP OF FIVE ORIENTAL AND ENGLISH TABLEWARES. 20th century. Includes shell dish and octagonal dish both in underglaze blue with pseudo-Chinese markings. Underglaze decorated teabowl in Oriental taste, possibly Johnson. Japanese scalloped bowl decorated with Japanese flag, fan and heron. Three legged Famille Rose censor with carved hardwood lid decorated overall with flowers and butterflies. SIZE: 1) 9-3/4″ l. 2) 6-1/2″ dia. 3) 3-1/2″ dia. 4) 7″ dia. 5) 6-1/4″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Chips to rim of leaf dish. Chip to edge of oct. dish. Chip to rim of teabowl. Japanese bowl with wear to gilding.
