RARE GALLE CAMEO HANGING LAMP. Rare and important French cameo hanging lamp has a floral and fauna pattern overall with two nicely executed dragonflies in flight. Colors of the decoration range from light blue to dusk blue and end in cobalt. All of this is set on a soft blue and yellow mottled frost ground. Glass dome is supported by ornate hardware that carries a brown patina finish. Lamp is finished with three hooks for proper installation as well as three original receptacles for electrification. Signed on the side of the glass in cameo “Galle”. SIZE: 17″ dia x 9-1/2″ deep. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with minor scuffing to frosted finish. Needs hanging hardware and electrification. 5-62826 (15,000-25,000)
