ARTHUR LINGQUIST (American, 1889-1975) “AT RIVER BEND”. Oil on canvas scene shows yellow house along side winding river in winter landscape. Tree covered hills with mountain as background. Signed lower right with some of the signature missing. Housed in a fine gilt molded wood frame with linen liner. Bryan Gallery, Jeffersonville, Vermont card affixed to back. Lingquist is best known for his Vermont subjects but also painted the coast of Maine and around Rocky Neck on Cape Ann where he spent many summers. SIZE: 16” x 20”.
