THOMAS HARRIS ROBINSON (American, 1834-1888) COWS IN THE MORNING LIGHT. Oil on canvas landscape scene shows four cows on a grassy hilltop in morning light with sky shaded from light blue to yellow. Two cows stand and two cows are lying. Signed in the rock lower right “T Robinson”. A “M.J. Whipple’s Boston” canvas stamp on reverse. Housed in a fine period carved & gilt frame with carved & gilt liner. SIZE: 18″ x 24″. CONDITION: Very good with light surface dirt. 9-24352 (3,000-5,000)
