ARTHUR J. HAMMOND (American, 1875-1947) SUNLIT RIVER. Oil on board New Hampshire scene shows a small river cascading through woods with sunlight streaming in. Signed on reverse of board. Also a piece of paper indicating that it originally came from the Estate of the artist and purchased by Herb Dyer in the 60’s. Housed in a fine antique gesso decorated gilt frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 4-3/4″ x 7-1/2″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96900 (600-900)
