ASSEMBLED SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1861 RIFLE WITH BAYONET AND REPRODUCTION SLING. Dated 1862 on lockplate, 1864 on rear of bbl. “TTB” and “SB” cartouches on left side of stock. The 18” bayonet has been nickel-plated. CONDITION: Metal has been partially cleaned. Heavy vise marks at breech of bbl. Tang is somewhat battered. Stock has been lightly sanded and refinished. 4-58722 (1,000-2,000)
