GILBERT TUCKER MARGESON (American, 1852-1949) ROCKPORT HARBOR. Oil on canvas Rockport Harbor scene shows Motif #1 on the end of a wharf with two fishing schooners tied alongside each other and a small boat tethered to the outside schooner. Fish nets are being dried outside of Motif #1 and a few seagulls can be seen over the calm water. The scene is reflected in the harbor waters. Signed lower left. Housed in a modern gilt wood frame.
