CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN ARMORIAL PLATTER. Last quarter 18th century. Oval platter with wavy blue and gilt decorated border centering an armorial crest with motto “FIDE ET DILIGENTIA” within banner. SIZE: 2-1/4″ h x 14-3/4″ l x 12-1/4″ w. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good overall with normal and expected wear to paint and gilding in crest. Wavy gilded border on rim with minor touch-ups. 9-23250 (800-1,200)
