*RARE MODEL 1906 AMERICAN EAGLE LUGER. Cal. 9 mm. SN 54976. Very rare Luger with 4″ tapered bbl, dovetail front sight, with American eagle over the chamber and “DWM” marked toggle link. It has full checkered wood grips and orig stainless body, unmarked wood base magazine. It has 2nd type grip safety, 3rd type thumb safety and narrow trigger guard with wide trigger. It also has a crown “N” proof on the left side of the frame and bottom of the bbl. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine. Retains about 98-99% strong bright orig finish overall including straw colors, slightly thin on the thumb safety. Grips are very crisp with minor diamond point wear and one small bruise. Magazine is equally new with one small ding on the base. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore with a couple of spots of light discoloration. Appears unfired. 4-54331 JR490 (4,500-6,500)
