TWO ANCIENT ROMAN VASES. Wonderful examples of Ancient Roman vases and the iridescence they acquired from years of being buried. One vase has a relatively even iridescent coating of purple with loops of green and gold while the other vase has allover gold iridescence with flashes of green, purple and pink. SIZE: Each are 2″ t. PROVENANCE: A gift to the Maine State Museum being sold to benefit the museums acquisition fund. CONDITION: Both are very good to excellent with some minor corrosion. 5-61596, 5-61597 (200-400)
