FRENCH ENAMEL OIL LAMP.

FRENCH ENAMEL OIL LAMP. Very pretty oil lamp has ornate brass three legged foot which supports a beautifully enameled lamp body with subtle engine turned decoration and translucent enamel shading from green to light blue to navy blue. Lamp is topped with an ornate brass gallery and oil font. Lamp is finished with a nice threaded green shade with light iridescence to the threading showing nice purple highlights and tall chimney. Scratched into the bottom of the oil font is “PJ Barlow Xmas 1892”. SIZE: 18″ to top of chimney. CONDITION: Very good with two surface cracks and chip to the enamel where it meets the metal base. 5-64974 (4,500-5,500)
