*RARE WALTHER G43 SNIPER WITH SCOPE & SLING. SN 2761m. Cal. 8X57. Spectacular ac 44 G43 with standard rough turned blued bbl, tall front sight with hood, 1,200 meter rear sight & a K43 ddx ZF4 scope with rubber eye cup, front cover & wooden rear plug. Scope bears serial number “79338” & mount has number “7003”. Also accompanied by an orig diamond pattern embossed brown leather sling. Some of small parts carry Waffenampt “359”. Magazine is marked “G43” with “aye” & a “waa943” Waffenampt. Stock is matching numbered with eagle “933” Waffenampt on left side & two additional Waffenampts on bottom. Buttstock has a hinged, spring loaded trap in buttplate containing a 32-page orig instruction manual in German for the K43 rifle & ZF4 scope. Instruction manual carries the number “D1865/2”. PROVENANCE: Doug Smith Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine, all matching except scope & mount. Metal retains virtually all of its blue & phosphate finishes with virtually no wear. Stock has a hairline in toe, otherwise is sound with only some old handling soil and a few minor handling & storage surface mars. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore.
