*VERY RARE GERMAN G41 SEMI-AUTO RIFLE. SN 1036b. Cal. 8X57 mm. Very rare duv 43 G41 German semi-auto military rifle with 22-1/2″ shrouded bbl, tall ramp front sight with hood, 1,200 meter rear sight and mounted in its orig laminated 1-pc stock with composition handguard & wiping rod. Accompanied by an orig brown leather sling. Right side of buttstock has two eagle “214” Waffenampts with serial number & small Waffenampt on bottom with tiny “214” Waffenampts on various parts. It also has a Nazi eagle on right side of chamber area of bbl. PROVENANCE: Doug Smith Collection. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine, all numbered parts are matching. Overall retains virtually all of its orig factory finish with only some light thinning on magazine body which is turning plum. Other blued parts retain bright factory blue. Sling is dry & lightly flexed retaining about 70% orig brown finish. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. 4-36160 JR251 (10,000-13,000)
