EDOUARD DROUOT (French, 1859-1945) “PLOWING”. Circa 1895 bronze having a brown-yellow patina shows a man with plow and two oxen team plowing a brown field. He has a long whip in his hand. Bronze is mounted to a black variegated marble molded edge plinth. Ref.: Pictured pg 660, Vol 3, Harold Berman Bronzes. SIZE: 11-1/2″ h x 26″ l x 8″ w (without marble). Marble 1-1/2″ h.
