AMERICAN VICTORIAN PRESENTATION PITCHER. Fourth quarter 19th century. Made by Greenwood Pottery of Trenton, NJ, this large ironstone pitcher in ivory and eggplant centering gilt decorated cartouche in which is written “Railroad House/Con Daly. Prop.” Impressed with maker’s mark on center of bottom. SIZE: 9-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Structurally very good with considerable wear to gilded surfaces. 9-23229 (300-500)
