OUTSTANDING AND INTERESTING STERLING CIGARETTE CASE. Given to actor Tom Brown (Thomas Edward Brown) purportedly by Actress Lana Turner, Circa 1943-1944. The rectangular cigarette case signed “Napier Sterling 600/” has two spring clips to open inside. Hinged lid with closure. The top has applied pieces which relate a story. The pieces relate to actors and actresses that were connected with WWII and its time period. The items include: A black cat with “Wyatt” (Jane Wyatt); Family crest for Director Ray Taylor; Small gold airplane (Capt. Wing Keye Luke); Pair of breasts marked Sugie for Lana Turner; A “V” with morse code (ST for Sidney Toller). Other items include lighter, Indian head gold coin, cross, Star of David, crossed flags; Trojan helmet; small cup and pallet (two hearts in one). The center is engraved “TEB”. SIZE: 3” x 6-1/2”.
